occupation list and what it means so to

begin with as an introduction shortage

means there's a demand but there's less

people so uk maintains a list where they

kind of list down all the jobs which are

huge in demand but they don't have

enough people and that is what is called

as uk shortage occupation list however

the uk government keeps on reviewing

this list on a regular basis so that

they can check you know the employment

and how many people they have and

wherever they have a shortage of labor

they keep on adding on the shortage

occupation list

so now let me explain you everything

you can read about the details like

here you can see the occupation code of

your job and the description of it and

the areas within the uk for example this

one is in england scotland wales

northern ireland and the last column is

very important which is about annual

salary which means if you get a job

under 1181 for health services you need

to get a minimum salary of thirty

thousand seven twenty pound if you don't

get this it means you will not be

eligible to apply for skilled visa as

you know uk is following point-based

system from 1st of jan 2021 so you need

to at least get a minimum points at 70

and salary is one of the criteria so you

need to get a minimum salary for your
